The core message of the ministry is that a person is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. That is the message this ministry teaches and defends, and it is the message this ministry encourages you to place your faith in. The ministry teaches the Christian lifestyle can be summed up with an expression that appears in the book of Galatians: faith active in love. A person bases their life on faith in Jesus Christ, and out of love for God does good works characterized by love for others. The ministry teaches that good works are done out of love for God, and not in an effort to earn God’s favor.
The ministry’s teachings are summed up in 21 biblical confessions of faith that every believer can claim in their life. They outline the nature of faith, the benefits of faith, the nature of God’s love for His children, and the nature of following Jesus. The confessions with their scriptural basis are:
1) Faith: Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
2) I am a sinner, and when I sin, I am acting according to my born nature (1 John 1:8, Romans 7:14-25)
3) The work of God is to believe (John 6:27-29, 2 Corinthians 3:7-18)
4) God really has the over-the-top goodness to justify sinners by faith (Romans 4:5-8)
5) I am justified by faith, and have peace with God (Romans 5:1)
6) In believing, all my sins are forgiven (Colossians 2:13-15)
7) In believing, I have the righteousness of Christ (Romans 4:5-8)
8) In believing, I am freed from the Old Testament Law and given grace (Galatians 3:10-14, Romans 4:15)
9) In believing, it was God’s delight to give me eternal life (Ephesians 1:7-12)
10) Scripture and logic affirm I am chosen (Ephesians 1:3-5, John 6:44, John 10:27-29)
11) Jesus loves me (Hebrews 12:1-2)
12) The Father loves me (1 John 3:1)
13) God loves me with full knowledge of who I am (Psalm 139:13-18)
14) God’s love for me is unconditional (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 8:38-39)
15) God’s love for me is over-the-top in nature (Ephesians 3:16-19 and the Gospel)
16) Out of His loving character, God chose to relate to us through the gospel (Logical Conclusion)
17) The ongoing nature of faith makes it a virtue that produces love for God (1 John 4:19)
18) I can show God love by trying to follow the teachings of Jesus (Romans 12:1, John 14:15)
19) With God’s perfect acceptance expressed through grace, my imperfect works done for Him are a poem in His sight (Logical Conclusion and Ephesians 2:10)
20) When my heart condemns me, God is greater than my heart (1 John 3:19-20)
21) I am sealed by the Holy Spirit, and I can’t lose my salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14)
